Our organization started out of a visible need to help educate women in our community regarding the divorce process. The Women’s Divorce Resource Center is modeled after the very successful “Second Saturday” program that has been helping women through this difficult time for over 15 years.
Our charity was co-founded in 2012 by Vicki McLellan, CFP, CDFA, MA and Rebecca Abel CFP, CDFA. Both have worked extensively on the financial side of divorce.

She is also a member of the Financial Planning Association, (and Michigan Chapter;) the Association of Divorce Financial Professionals; the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts; the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals; and the Collaborative Practice Institute of Michigan.
