Workshops For Women

Our “Women’s Divorce Workshops” are for women who are contemplating or just starting the divorce process. During these half-day programs you will hear presentations from divorce professionals and have an opportunity to ask questions for additional information. You will learn about legal issues and the general legal process, coping emotionally with divorce, important financial issues and options for the divorce process including Collaborative Practice and Mediation.

In addition to these Saturday half-day workshops, the WDRC offers 90 minute Special Topic workshops throughout the year on a variety of topics of interest to women who are considering, in the process of, or post-divorce.

Special Topics

These seminars are hosted on the Mondays evenings listed below from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

October 16 – “Healing your Divorce: How not to make the same mistakes”- Dr. Toni Kaplan Ph.D. will be speaking about healing after divorce and finding new healthy relationships.  She will focus on relationship awareness to prevent repeating old patterns that do not serve your highest self.

December 4 – “Dealing with a Hostile Ex”- Shelly Loomus, JD, MSW is the author of “Winning Your High Conflict Divorce” will be discussing how to effectively manage chronic post-divorce related conflicts.

These workshops are held on Saturdays listed below from 8:30am to 12:30pm.

These workshops are educational forums presented by an attorney, divorce financial planner, therapist and mediator / collaborative attorney to help you navigate through the legal, financial and emotional aspects of divorce.

The fee for these workshops are $30 using advance registration here on the site and $40 at the door. Limited scholarship funds may be available. Contact us for more information.
